The North Gower and District Outreach Foodbank will be holding a food drive on Saturday Sept. 23rd from 10 AM - 2 PM at the St. John’s Anglican Church in Kars. Please come out and bring non-perishable food items or cash donations to help feed all those who are having difficulty in buying groceries at this time.

 They need just about everything including: 

• Cereals

• Peanut butter

• Canned vegetables and fruit 

• Coffee, tea, sugar

• Cookies

• Crackers

• Juice 

• Items for children’s lunches (lunchables, drinking boxes etc )

The food bank also distributes Food vouchers for perishables such as bread, milk, butter etc.  The Food Bank accepts cash or cheques made out to "North Gower and area food bank” to purchase the Vouchers. If you would like a tax receipt you may donate to the Parish of South Carleton with a note that the donation is for The North Gower Food Bank - this may be done with cash, a cheque or an e-transfer.

If you are unable to bring the items to the Food Drive you may bring them to church Sunday September 24th at Holy Trinity North Gower.
